Welcome to RDZC Chinchilla Ranch! I have been breeding since the summer of 2002. In April of 2005 my ranch was established and I received the brand RDZC from ECBC (Empress Chinchilla Breeders). Since then my numbers have grown and fallen over the years. I am currently at around 40 breeding Chinchillas and hope to expand to about 60 breeding Chinchillas within the next couple of years. I specialize in black velvet and high quality standards. I do not focus largely on too many mutations because I feel I would not be able to focus as well on how my lines are producing. This way I am able to breed higher quality better by not losing my focus on so many colors. I do have one line dedicated to violets, several mosaics, a couple beige and one brown velvet. Obviously because of my small numbers in these areas, these colors are rarely, if ever, available for sale.
