Terms and Conditions of Sales

I usually have a few chinchillas for sale at any time. If I do not have something listed that you are interested in, please email me and I will help you find the chinchilla you are looking for. I reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone.

Each chinchilla is sold with terms and conditions made specifically towards that chinchilla's needs.

No chinchilla will be sold as pet to someone for a child younger than 12 years old. If a chinchilla is sold as a pet to a minor, a parent or guardian must be present to give consent and sign legal papers placing the responsibility for vet care and the chinchilla's well being on said parent or guardian.

Shipping is available at the buyer's expense and only when the weather is cool enough on both ends that I can ensure the least amount of stress is placed on the chinchilla. Must purchase at least 3 chinchillas to have a shipment sent out. Shipping is available through Continental or Alaska and a health certificate is required which the buyer must also pay for. You must also provide a carrier and water bottles (feed dishes are required for overnight). Shipping can cost upwards of $250, so be sure the animals you are getting will be worth the extra money.

Railroads can be arranged at any time for one or more chinchillas. A railroad is a transportation train that the buyer arranges to get a chinchilla from me to the buyer. Most members of a transport chain require payment for gas used to help the chin(s) along their way.

I will travel to meet interested buyers and can also deliver. If I have to drive, the buyer must also pay my gas expenses which will be specified before the purchase of the animal is complete. The minimum fee for gas is $20.

All chinchillas are sold with a 30 day guarantee of health. This does not include health problems from poor care or neglect on the owners part. A report from a licensed veterinarian must be submitted to me for approval along with a number and address for the veterinarian.

Payments can be made with cash or by paypal. No checks will be accepted. All chinchillas must be paid in full before leaving the premises.

A $50 non-refundable deposit will hold a chinchilla for four weeks or until an arranged pick up date that is agreed on by myself and the purchaser.

NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN. If a chinchilla is proven unhealthy and my ranch is at fault you may return the sick chinchilla for me to take care of and receive another chinchilla of equal or lesser value.

He hasn't grown to his full potential, possibly due to a couple of feed changes I was forced to do around the time he was born and weaned. He would make an excellent pet, he is out of a Shoots bred standard female and a CC, Bowen bred standard male.

Name: Hoggle DOB: 7/27/2010 Color: Standard s/c Gender: Male Price: $100 Breeder: RDZC Ranch/Chinchillas QED This wonderfully blocky male would make a great addition to a white line if he were provided with large females. He has great strength of fur and good clarity. Took 1st place multiple times and is an all around nice male, just a little on the smaller side.33

Name: Emilia DOB: 3/22/2011 Color: Hetero Beige Gender: Female Price: $150 Breeder: RDZC Ranch Emilia is a gorgeous beige female. She is out of one of my calmest lines with the best personalities. She could use a little more size, but is growing very well so far. She has good strength of fur and great clarity and color. Would make a great pet or an excellent breeder.

Name: Cujo DOB: 5/21/2011 Color: Dark Ebony Gender: Male Price: $200 Breeder: RDZC Ranch This male is growing out nicely. He is still on the smaller side, but it's normal for a darker ebony to grow at a slower rate. He is nice and blocky and has good fur so far. He will be shown in April for a better indication of his traits.
